Terms of Use

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to register. Provide accurate information, keep credentials private, use a unique password, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable safeguards.

The service

Tap Into the Art helps people discover artists and helps artists publish profiles, links, commission availability, and appearances. Features may change, pause, or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every profile, link, event, artist, venue, or opportunity is accurate, safe, available, or suitable.

Transactions and outside services

Unless we expressly state otherwise, Tap Into the Art is not a party to commissions, purchases, deposits, registrations, waivers, waitlists, event arrangements, or other dealings between users, artists, venues, and outside services. Review outside terms and use reasonable judgment before paying, meeting, traveling, signing, or sharing information.

Your content and ownership

You retain ownership of content you submit. You represent that you own it or have permission to use and share it. You grant Tap Into the Art a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, resize, format, display, distribute, and technically process the content to operate, secure, improve, and promote your profile and the service. This license ends when content is deleted, except for reasonable backup rotation, content already shared at your direction, and records retained for legal or safety reasons.

Acceptable use

Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not impersonate others, infringe rights, publish illegal or dangerous material, harass people, deceive visitors, distribute malware, scrape or overload the service, bypass security, manipulate reports, or use the service for unauthorized automated activity.

Moderation and termination

Initial artist publication may require review. We may investigate, limit, unpublish, reject, suspend, or remove accounts or content that violate these terms, create risk, or must be restricted by law. We may preserve relevant evidence and cooperate with lawful process. Users may appeal ordinary moderation decisions by contacting us.

Copyright complaints

Copyright complaints are handled under our Copyright and DMCA Policy. We may terminate repeat infringers when appropriate.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent legally permitted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tap Into the Art is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, outside transactions, artist conduct, event changes, or third-party sites. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Tap Into the Art from third-party claims arising from your content, unlawful conduct, infringement, or material violation of these terms. This does not apply to claims caused by our own unlawful conduct.

Governing law and changes

Washington law governs these terms, without overriding consumer protections that legally apply where you live. Courts with proper jurisdiction in Washington may hear disputes unless applicable law requires otherwise. Material changes will be posted with a new date and may require renewed agreement. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the account and request deletion.
